These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and KAIDO SYSTEMS CONSULTANCIES - FZCO, Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“YouMySoul”, “we”, “us”), which operates the YouMySoul apps for iOS and Android, the web app at youmysoul.app and download.youmysoul.app (the “Service”). The apps are distributed in the App Store and Google Play by APPLAUNCH as developer and seller.
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
2. Eligibility (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old to use YouMySoul, and able to enter into a binding contract where you live. By using the Service you confirm that you are. We will close accounts we believe belong to someone under 18.
3. Your account
You sign in with your email (using a one-time code), Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In. Keep access to that email or provider account secure — anyone who controls it can access your YouMySoul account.
Give accurate information and keep one account per person. Don’t create an account for someone else or use someone else’s account.
You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@youmysoul.app if you think it has been accessed without permission.
Logging out ends the session on that device; your account and data remain until you delete them.
4. Pairing and unpairing
You can pair with one partner by sharing an invite code. Pair only with someone who knows what YouMySoul is and wants to use it with you.
Once paired, your partner can see what you share in the couple space — including shared collections, your wishlist, widget photos and messages you send, shared Scanner sessions and reports, and activity — as described in the Privacy Policy.
Never use YouMySoul to monitor, pressure, control or covertly collect information about another person.
You can stop interacting with a partner at any time by unpairing or by deleting your account. After that, they can no longer see new content from you. Content you already shared in the couple space may remain visible to them as described in section 12 and in the Privacy Policy.
5. Relationship Scanner and AI
YouMySoul and the Relationship Scanner are intended for entertainment, relationship reflection and educational purposes and do not constitute psychological, medical, mental-health, therapeutic or professional advice.
Scanner reports, Plan Match suggestions and other AI-generated content are produced automatically by third-party AI models from short answers. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent, and they are not reviewed by a person before you see them.
AI can misunderstand context, tone, culture or the situation behind an answer, and can present guesses with more confidence than they deserve.
Scores, labels, archetypes, “flags” and similar results are prompts for conversation, not facts or diagnoses about you, your partner or your relationship.
Do not rely on the Service for important medical, mental-health, safety, legal, financial or other professional decisions, including whether to stay in or leave a relationship. Speak to a qualified professional instead.
If you are in danger, experiencing abuse or violence, or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your country right away. YouMySoul cannot help in an emergency.
6. Your content
“Your content” means anything you add to or send through the Service, including widget text and photos, Scanner answers and results, game answers, links you share or paste, wishlists, shared collections (Watch Together, Date Ideas, Places to Go, Our Dates), and other images or text.
You keep ownership of your content.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display and transmit your content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service for you and your partner — for example to show it to your partner, generate your report or build a link preview. The license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies in backups that expire as described in the Privacy Policy.
You confirm you have the right to share your content, including any photo of another person, and that sharing it doesn’t break these Terms or anyone’s rights.
We don’t pre-screen content and aren’t responsible for content users share, but we may remove content or restrict accounts that break these Terms.
7. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not use the Service to create, upload, send or share, or to engage in:
illegal content or activity;
harassment, bullying, intimidation or hate;
threats of violence or harm;
abuse, coercive control or domestic violence;
stalking, or monitoring someone without their knowledge;
non-consensual intimate images or content, including images shared without the consent of everyone shown;
sexual exploitation of any person;
child sexual abuse or exploitation material of any kind, which we report to the authorities;
fraud, scams or phishing;
malware, or attempts to hack, overload, scrape or interfere with the Service or other users;
impersonation of another person or organization;
infringement of copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights;
violation of anyone’s privacy, including sharing another person’s private information without permission.
You also must not reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows, resell or commercially exploit it, get around subscription features or usage limits, or use it to build a competing product.
8. Reporting and enforcement
To report another user or content that breaks these Terms, email support@youmysoul.app with what happened and, if you can, the account email or screenshots. We review reports and respond as quickly as we can.
You can stop contact with a partner immediately by unpairing or deleting your account.
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or close accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement when we reasonably believe these Terms or the law have been broken, or someone is at risk.
9. Subscriptions and payments
Some features require a YouMySoul Premium subscription.
Where you buy. Subscriptions are sold through Apple In-App Purchase in the App Store and Google Play Billing in Google Play, and are managed for us by RevenueCat. Your purchase is also subject to Apple’s or Google’s terms, and payment is charged to your Apple or Google account.
Plans. We offer a Monthly plan and a Yearly plan. Eligible Yearly subscriptions include a 7-day free trial; eligibility is decided by Apple or Google (for example, a trial is usually available once per account).
Prices. The price is the one shown by Apple or Google before you confirm the purchase. Prices vary by storefront, country, currency, taxes and promotions, and may change; we or the store will tell you before a price change applies to your subscription where required.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you cancel during a free trial, you won’t be charged. Your account is charged within 24 hours before the renewal.
Manage Subscription. You can see, change or cancel your subscription in the app (Us → Settings → Manage Subscription) or in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
Restore Purchases. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use Restore Purchases in Settings with the same Apple or Google account to recover an active subscription.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We can’t issue refunds for store purchases directly.
Deleting a YouMySoul account does NOT automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop being charged, cancel the subscription in your store account.
10. Intellectual property
The Service — including the YouMySoul name and logo, app design, illustrations, text, questions, games, missions and software — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the apps for your own non-commercial use under these Terms. Don’t copy, modify or distribute our materials except as the Service allows (for example, sharing an invite or a report with your partner).
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
11. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available, but it is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, outages of our providers (such as hosting, AI or app stores) or reasons outside our control. We may change, add or remove features, including which features are part of Premium, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what a paid subscription includes.
12. Termination and account deletion
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app (Us → Settings → Delete Account) or at download.youmysoul.app/delete-account.
When you delete your account, we delete your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. If you were paired, your partner keeps their account and the couple’s shared plans, without your name, and the Scanner report you already shared.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the Service. Where appropriate we will tell you why.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as 5, 6, 10, 14, 15, 16 and 17) continue to apply.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use and share it, and your rights.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the Service, or any report or suggestion, will improve your relationship, be accurate, or meet your expectations. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, YouMySoul, APPLAUNCH and their affiliates, officers, employees and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or relationship or emotional harm, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, AI-generated content, or other users’ content or conduct.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for YouMySoul in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content or your breach of these Terms or the law.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live give you the right to bring a claim in your local courts or under your local law.
Before starting a formal dispute, please email support@youmysoul.app so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
18. App Store and Google Play
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the app (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual property claims). If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
If you downloaded the app from Google Play, your use is also subject to Google Play’s terms.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you don’t agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
